Punjab University's women hockey team has won the '36th All Pakistan Inter-University Higher Education Commission Women's Hockey Championship 2017-18' by 1-0. Punjab University's hockey team defeated the Lahore College for Women University hockey team in final played at Johar Town Hockey Stadium. PU's central forward Noreena Khalil scored solitary goal in the match which led to success.

University of Sargodha obtained third position after defeating the Government College University Faisalabad. Director Sports of Government College for Women Baghbanpura Ghazala Tariq distributed prizes among the winners at the prize distribution ceremony.
